Going to Germany

The girls and I - sadly without Emma who's been absent from England for most of the Summer holidays - are off to Germany on Thursday. We're going to visit Zoe and Christoph and the girls.

I am, as usual, very excited, pouring over my new map of Europe, and consulting with Oracles on the best way to reach our destination of Bensheim with the greatest of ease. The Oracle, or Sue, if you like, has suggested an alteration from the route that both Google and my phone navigation software want to take us. In fact, it differs completely, taking us via Lille, Mons, Charleroi and Liege, rather than round via Gent and Bruxelles. Only time will tell...
